I had an unpaid Toll which was sent to RecoveriesCorp. It was unpaid due to not receiving our mail (that's another story). GoVia sent it to Recoveries Corp on 19/5/17. I made a payment plan with Recoveries Corp. On 20/5/17 GoVia also sent it to Qld Transport. On 19/11/2017 I receive a Demand for Non Payment of Toll of $170.00 from Qld Transport. This is for a Toll I have paid. So Go Via have $4.85....which then became $27.95....and then even though it was paid it became $170.00.
When I sent emails through and spoke to both Qld Transport and GoVia, I had to prove that I had paid it and had to get GoVia to withdraw it from Qld Transport. I didn't receive an apology...nothing...except "oh this happens sometimes". How the hell does it happen?
