Many say the Tolling Ombudsman in Australia is ineffective and set up by the tolling companies as a ruse. We called to speak to Michael Arnold, the Tolling Customer Ombudsman, so we could ask him some questions, but we ran into a slight problem, it appears to be impossible to get them on the phone.
When we called the 1800 number (1800 145 009) we found that we just got a ridiculous 2:42 minute message, and then it hangs up...every time.
Not sure why they have a number if it is just a message. Here is the recording.
